Kim Phuc's message to us
all is 'first do no harm'

                
                 Kim Phuc, the little Vietnamese girl whose clothes were burned
                 off her body by napalm when she was 9 years old, ran until
                 pain and thirst stopped her. When she stopped a kind American
                 soldier poured water on her burns, but the steam only cooked
                 them further. In the pain, she lost consciousness. She had 14 months
                 in the hospital and 17 operations, with burns over 35% of her
