CONFESSOR SEA
She goes to confession
not to a male priest
but to the sea
.. who listens
without judging
without speaking
without attention diverted
who then dissolves
away her fears
She does not write her
mistakes and in a sealed bottle
for a random finder
nor depend on
the
inviolate
confessional seal
Another does not confess
.. remembering that
all are holy .. all is perfect
and that mistakes are only
in the eyes of the beholder
