Still she pens peace
as she writes

and gives us hope
for peace everywhere
and most in Iraq

WISHPERS

Tiny wisps of desire
grow and become
wishes which in the
heart whisper
until they become
blueprints
. of reality

A OR B

Some say that
to enable is to disempower.
On the other hand,
those least loving are
often those most in need.
God will tell me
which path to take
in each case.

SUN'S LONGER FINGERS

Where the ice lingers
held by Winter's cold fingers
The sun melts it away
with his much longer fingers

GOD SEND RAIN

God send rain
is billions' refrain
... that we draw dark clouds
with mercy in their train

GIFT TO THE SEA

Rivers and rains give
to replenish the sea.
As they give living waters
so they receive.

The gardener gives water
today to fruit trees
Branches in turn give
gifts from their trees.

DEMONS FIGHT EACH OTHER

Demons besides
throwing the apple of discord
into human gatherings
fight amongst themselves.
Through their human hosts
they act like boxer coaches
staying in the corner
while their hosts suffer.

LOINS OF LIONS

Beneath Orion
for sale are
loins of lions
Trophy hunters
seek to pay for their
bloody trips by selling
pieces of their victims' corpses

MINOTAUR

If about Theseus
a random centaur
was admonitory
perhaps would
have lived....
the minotaur.

PROLIFE BREAKFAST

They gathered to support
the Republican candidate of
war and execution. Some had
2 aborted chicken eggs
sunnyside down. Others
pieces of the behinds of
murdered pigs.

In several religions the 'prolife' movement is not about working to end war or stop executions nor is it to shut down slaughterhouses. It is a human chauvinist movement, and one narrowly circumscribed to include only fetal rights. Because of the narrowness of this movement there are now 6 'prolife Catholic males on the Supreme Court rubberstamping 2 Iraq wars, war in Afghanistan, execution, and factory farm torture.  10

IMPRISONING HOARD

He had attained his desire...
the gold he had stolen from
many was in a vault..
but his invisible leash
was proximity to the safe.
He never went far from his
imprisoning hoard.

DARK CLOUD

There is a dark cloud
over the sun...
yet the cloud is moving
slowly east
and the sun will soon
rise beyond the veiling
fleece

HUMAN CUD

Cows chew on
cud.
Some humans chew
on cowbone gelatin gum.

IS GOD THE ONLY DOER

There are mystics of all paths, including Albert Einstein,
who believe that God is the only Doer, the prime cause of all action,
the only guilty party. And yet believing this, we so often blame
God's human pawns, instruments of our own karma.

ZOO GNU

Go to a zoo
to find captive gnus
jailed giraffes
pacing trapped tigers
and caged cuckoos

The Washington Zoo often provides their slave animals to NIH or
the military for research. In 1983 the National Zoo tried to have
a deer bow and arrow hunt at their Front Royal research center.
The Smithsonian which has been investigated for receiving the stuffed
corpses of endangered species animals killed by Safari Club
trophy hunters was a cosponsor. The hunt was cancelled by the work of
Ann C. Free, Lewis Retgenstein, HSUS, PETA, and former Senator Vance
Hartke among others. The Cleveland Zoo was exposed in sending 'excess'
animals to a Texas canned hunt site. Another Ohio zoo did not tell
children bringing the pet Easter rabbits and baby chicks they were forbidden to keep that the abandoned beings would soon be trembling in the cages of
snakes.

SUNFIRE AFAR

God has turned sunfire afar
into soft needles for the fir
and cloaked animals with winter fur.

CHINESE AND US RESTAURANT SYNDROME

It was called "Chinese restaurant syndrome",
the headaches caused by
monosodium glutamate, MSG.
The meat tenderizer could turn leathery
old cuts into gelatinous chewable flesh.
Why does it cause headaches? Because
it does to the cells of the brain what it
does to the cells of the cadavers of
animals crucified.

Often in the US if
you see a drink or food with
an ingredient called 'natural flavor'
it is the Food And Drug Administration
doing the MSG industry a corrupt favor.

There is nothing natural about the MSG labeled 'natural flavor'.
Like the aspartame, artificial sweetener, in diet colas and diet sweets, MSG
causes brain lesions.

PHILANTHROPY PONZI SCHEMES

If a plutocrat has stolen billions
from millions, as long as he gives
a pittance of his loot to 'charity',
he is exalted by warmonger media
as a philanthropist., even if he or she gives
to universities and hospitals inflicting
pain on animals or the political campaigns of
the bellicose.

He can sometimes be eulogized over animal
flesh dinners by the 'humane society' he has gifted.

DISGRUNTLED

The pig screamed
and shrieked
before and as he
was murdered.
Then his feet were cut off.
His head was decapitated.
His ears were sliced off.
He was no longer disgruntled
that he'd been disgrunted..
for his soul had risen
to God
and only his cadaver remained
to give heart disease, cancer,
food poisoning, Mad Pig and
copious other diseases to
the pigeaters.

RINSING MOUTHS WITH PIG FAT

The most heavily promoted
mouthwash in the US
contains glycerine... people
are rinsing out their mouths
with pig fat.       20

TREE GRATITUDE

When one waters
hot thirsty trees
they in gratitude
create a breeze.

TRANSPARENT BEINGS

On special days
when ones frequency is higher
the world is seen
bathed in a sea of Light and Joy
as when the backdrop lighting
of a stageset is dimmed
Every palace and shack are
equally immersed. Living beings
become transparent temples...
the Light of Love is seen glowing
in all.

During the day
a noisy throng
Even so...
before night silence
comes
evensong.

FLORENTINE

They are less likely
in kitchens Florentine
to need their food
to quarantine.

FOUNTAINS

Between the garden wall
and the wishing well
are windkissed willows in
which many birds dwell
and babbling fountains which
refresh the will.

WHISPERED WORD

When the woods
are very still
comes the nightingale's
joytrill.
In silence
the whispered word
of God is heard.  26

FIREWORKS TRAGEDY

He was sitting off fireworks from a boat
in the lake for his children, nieces and nephews.
He let 2 of the oldest children
into the boat with him. The firework
malfunctioned... the boat capsized...
hitting this champion swimmer on the head
and drowning 1 of the 2 teens.
When his brother went diving for him, he
saw glowing far below
the flashlight his brother still held,
as if his departed spirit was telling his
brother where to look for his body.

CRICKET'S EYE

Dawn pink at
the rim of the sky
The sun is as high
as a cricket's eye

They loved to fight
each other and then make up.
Combatibility
was part of
their compatibility

Watermelon raspberries
strawberries cherries
... as they give sweeter and better

The rejected fruit
last on the tree
with the most juice swells.
The 100th Lamb rescued
by Jesus
now knows God
within him dwells.
The ugly duckling
has become the most
beautiful swan.
The last has become first
and shines in the dawn

SHIFT CHANGE

Bees hurry home to their fellows
as the sunset shift bell rings.
The air is quieter... cooler
Evening stars into view swing.
