Dogies Suffer Even More Than Doggies
Lost, motherless, orphaned
or abandoned
baby calves are called dogies...
Nowadays they're
killed and consumed,
Sometimes between
breads they're called hoagies.
All butchered calves
are motherless..
most are kidnapped.
Many are served
(not themselves
by waiters but on platters)
after which some
humans smoke stogies.

Note: one might say 'baby calf' is redundant...
but not everyone thinks of a calf as a baby
