Grave Digger for Love

Sometimes it's hard to say
You love her…someone else
Interposes themselves when
You do, and doors and windows
To her heart become shut.

Beethoven rushes to his beloved
But his carriage wheels are stuck
In mud…mud interferes always
And love becomes muddled
And cannot reach her closed heart.

I know, it is not always that people
Will understand my poetry …the
Muddler in me tries to say how I
Truly feel, and you think I fling mud.

Every time I go fishing for love in an
Ice hole, it freezes up, and I have to dig
A new hole; to find an opportune time
To get love by being a grave digger.
