here in my arms

you lye gently

passing into sleep

knowing i am there

but for how long will you be?

i love you still my girl

i will forever

i will be here for you

you remain in my heart

i have shed many tears for you

and will shed many more still

My Girl i love you so much

it breaks my heart every day

to know i cant hold you in my arms

i wish you were still here

but you are not

you are in a better place

sometimes i think of joining

you up there where grass is green

and skys forever blue

you trust me so very deeply

i can look into your eyes

and see straight into your soul

i miss you my girl,

some times your all i think about

i remember how i couldn't pick you

up when you fell like i promised you i would

i need you but you can't come to me

seasons pass, days change me

but they will never change my heart

where you live on in my memories

i see you  looking at me with your eyes

and your smile

i see you running flag up long

strides flying past all the while

with me in your heart knowing that i love you

i wish we could run again like we used to

in days long gone with the wind in our faces

the groud falling away behind us

the spirits in side us

set free

the one thing i gave you that i promised

i gave Freedom from the pain

one thing that you stole that i let you keep

my heart remains yours forever
