The Bolsheviks have perfected an expertise

in efficient making and filling up mass graves:

a grim solution their collective anger craves---

the best disposition of those deemed enemies,

who are too dangerous to be harnassed as slaves,

but have become the worst enemies of the People.

Shout this from each broken bell and toppled steeple.

Author's Notes/Comments:

In the final line, I wanted to allude to the Bolshevik persecution of the Orthodox Church, by breaking its bells and toppling its steeples.  The countless murders of Orthodox Christians is alluded to in the mass graves.  Among the many sins of the Soviet Union, the murder of Orthodox Christians---beginning with the Czar and his family---is the worst, a deluge of bloodshed that still spiritually stains that land.
