+ 1ST ORTHODOX POEMS: Authentic, Real Early Christianity

For the authentic, real Early Christianity,

I---since my early adolescence---made a lengthy search:

reading through collected texts of Ancient History,

I was led to the Apostolic Orthodox Church

wherein the first Christian Faith now dwells worshipfully.

Despite what our sad kind's caused chaos skeptically

doubts, the Church Christ had founded during His Ministry---

the three years' time He walked throughout verdant Galilee:

this greatest heritage and spirituality,

and worshipping Jesus with the Divine Liturgy:

this is the Heavenly Temple in where my soul may be

well nurtured by the Fellowship of the Mystery.

In my late pilgrimage, I have become Starward-Led,

I shall sign this poem in joy, with neither fear nor dread.
