LORD JESUS, be merciful to me, the sinner:

at sin's degradations, I am no beginner,

as that piece of ice I tread grew ever more thinner.

But You brought great Mercy iinto the world through Your Incarnation:

and bestowed, upon even such as me, enjoyed Salvation.
