Like the enflamed bush before which unshod Moses, son of
Pharaoh's daughter, paused to worship, our sovereign Lady,
Theotokos, the Blessed Virgin Mary contained within Her
Womb the Lord of Lights, Maker of Earth, Constructor of
Stars---V602 Carinae and KY Cygni---and the
Trampler-down of Death, Despoiler of the Tombs,
our Redeemer Who cancelled our multitude of sins:
She, the Most Favored of Women, Who contained Him as
Her Baby without, Herself, being adversely consumed.
