+ 1ST POEMS: θυσίαν αἴνεσις, Thirteen Early Morning Lines On LXX Psalm 67:13 And Revelation 22:16

[With deep gratitude to Arvo Part, my Elder Brother in the Orthodox Faith and the

Fellowship of the Mystery (Ephesians 3:9)]

Even if ye should lie among the lots, ye shall have the wings of a dove . . .

---LXX Psalm 67:13

My flesh shall decompose its lies among lots, but on the wings of the dove

my soul (like yours has---blessed, beautiful, barefoot Alexei) shall soar above

the stars at cosmic edges that even the Webb cannot begin to measure:

and there, it shall embrace from Christ that is its chief treasure---

the privilege and assurance of believable Salvation

that cannot be stooped by the stupids of damnation,

the vacancies of failures that are now revealed for what they are.

Now, in the effulgence of the Bright and Morning Star,

we shall carry on the eternal exultation,

and shall, in the sound of that perfectly harmonized jubilation,

acknowledge with gratitude and gratefully proclaim

that Name which is better than any other name:

Jesus, Redeemer, Regnant Son of God; Jesus, the name that belongs to Love.
