Yet [*/+/^] : Zealously Written To Offer The Final Prayer, Of My Catholic Christian Soul, 5

The devil would like to shatter and despoil your remaining stay:

such that the joy of Faith becomes a sense of obligation;

and the given and glorious privilege of Catholic prayer

becomes the burden and dash of spiritual despair;

and each of your remaining (upon the earth) days

becomes a mere waiting, not a faith-filled expectation;

and in your icon corner, your devoted gaze

should become only a tiresome and unwitting stare.

These are the wishes of the evil one as they are;

these are the Easter Eggs he would like to poach

But in the light of the Bright and Morning Star,

the joy (as Prophet Habakkuk wrote) in Christ, our God of Salvation

drives these shadows away and spare yo from their approach;

you are safe Christ, the old, and only, path and the good way.

Starward-Led,

the sinner and unworthy servant of God,

and a Catholic Christian
