+ 9TH POEMS: θυσίαν αἴνεσις, The Gift Of Several Leadings

You led me from sleep, that summer night, to view Your stars.

You led me from spiritual apathy to become a Christian.

You led me to the fullness of Liturgy of the Orthodox Church.

And, when You will, I shall be led to enter Your eternity.

Who am I to be so favored, having so long inflicted upon myself

any number of errors, flaws, failings, and faults?

Yet, You loved me and gave Yourself for me, so that

I can love You, and give myself wholly and fully to You, Whom the

very stars delight to praise and obey, Who are---

as Holy Apostle John wrote for us---the Bright and Morning Star.

Starward-Led
