During balmy autumns, like springs, most shoes are
abandoned. Bare or socksheathed male feet glide the
pathways to classes, the Dining Hall, and the
Library, as baggy jeans' frayed, tattered cuffs
drag over the ground.
Author's Notes/Comments:
Three of the four years I lived there featured unusually warm springs and autumns (1976-77, 78-79, 79-80). From the first month of freshman year, I was very glad to enjoy all that Beauty.
