Everything had to be done according to your way;

you showed too little kindness, with far too much to say:

lines had to be ruler straight, and staples uniformly placed,

and data items had to be uniformly spaced.

And from these enforcements of yours, we could not stray.

So you managed our department, Ol' DooDah Day.

A Freemason at the time, like I was, his daily, even hourly, violations of Masonic protocols first showed me the weakness of that fraternity's tenets.
