A Winter Tan

Folder:
30. XXX (07.24.20)

Take me away far south of the border

And deliver me where you choose.

I leave it to you to restore order

And don’t care what freedom I lose.

Simply demonstrate that you can lead

And watch how eagerly I accede.

Let me lap like waves upon your private shore,

Governed by the sun and the moon, drawn to my man.

Edge me by inches till I cry out for more –

Make it impossible to get a winter tan.

Savor your boy with the surest of pride

As we weave among the villagers in town.

Watch the sun kiss me by the harborside

Knowing when night falls it’s you who wears the crown.

Won’t you claim my body with your strong hands

And spirit me away to secret sands?

Let me lap like waves upon your private shore,

Governed by the sun and the moon, drawn to my man.

Edge me by inches till I cry out for more –

Make it impossible to get a winter tan.
