Translate My Heart

All time before you a lifetime ago,

The music before the curtain rises.

I’d be a fool to not let my love show –

To do so is what my heart advises.

From now on dear you need never be alone –

All you need do is simply call my name.

I’ll bandage all bruises, place you on a throne –

True love abounds here and it’s yours to claim.

Your wounds hurt me greater than they do you –

Please let me be the one to make it all okay.

My fondest wish is to give you your due –

I was created to love, honor and obey.

In any language my heart translates to

The words will always lead me back to you.
