08. Nice 2 Know Ya

Folder:
05. 21 (07.24.08)

Each rung on this ladder is higher than last,
Every new level an obstruction I'll pass
If this climb should prove fruitful.
Each time that I think of looking back
Mere thought of your face turns my heart black
To be perfectly truthful.
I'd sooner travel with locusts than take you with me.
I'd rather swim the ocean than the Mississippi
If it meant I'd be alone on arrival -
Your absence is crucial to my survival.
Removing tongue would make it clear
How strongly you're not needed here.
Your actions themselves would have to stand alone,
Unveiling those conflicts I've already known.
If the likes of you were to simply shove off
Society itself would be far better off.
You may not be Hitler or even George Dubya
Still, all I can say is nice 2 know ya.
