I'm thinking of taking a dive.
Could you kindly step aside?
I feel the need to feel alive,
An impulse I must abide.
To descend is to know one's full extent,
To grasp the be all and end all.
It is a once in a lifetime event,
The test of will which guides the fall.
Rocky crags will jut out,
Parachutes may fail to deploy -
Of danger I've no doubt -
But this life was made to enjoy.
I've climbed up high and reached the summit.
Now begs the question: Can I plummet?
