Mother Rose

As one walks across majestic field

toward a new born sun

six Rose's sway in morning breeze

heads high they stand as one

Mountainous clouds form a sky

rays of glory shine on all

soon five hearts will bleed in sorrow

Mother Rose took a fall

Missed by those who love her

yet, know she's not alone

The heart of a pure white Rose waits

for her short journey home

Reborn as she was when young

to reign supreme in conquering death

In a garden paradise she'll be placed

watching over rosebud and baby's breath

The beauty of a Rose that blooms in spring

Is cherished and loved by those who behold it

When it withers and falls and is gone

The memory and scent of such a perfect flower

will foever remain in your heart
