The only thing I miss
Is every time we would kiss
But I can't get with you
Because you broke my heart in two

I want to hold your hand
I want you to be my man
I want to be wrapped in your arms
I want you to keep me safe from harm.

I don't know what to do
I can't forget what I went through
I have so many memories with you
But you tore my heart in two

You helped me when I was down
You wiped away my frown
You protected me from the cold
You were always bold

I can't hide
You'll always be at my side
But I don't want you
Because you ripped my heart in two

You were there when I needed a friend
There was no need to pretend
That I would never care
Because I would always be there

I don't want to make my heart new
I don't want life without you
But I don't know what to do
You sliced my heart in two

I know you want what's best
I know you won't give it a rest
You thought I would give in
But things are just about to begin

You can never break me apart
You can never steal my heart
