I hear someone
Talking to me
It sounds like
My Gran-dad
I hear him
Silently
Singing
“I wana be _____ girl”
I started to cry
I miss him so much
Then he said
Why are you crying?
I simply said
It’s not the same
with out you
I miss you
Gran-dad
Then I herd
Nothing.
……….
Then I realized it was
Only a dream
Until
He showed up
In my room
Looking at me
I didn’t
Cry
But smiled and…
Nodded off
To sleep
