When I'm uncomfortable
I run away
When I'm upset
I run away
When I am confused
I run away
I cry and hurt
When I run away from
You
I don't like to run
Especially not from
You
I know I hurt you
But you hurt me
Too
The silence
Sometimes cuts into
Me like a dagger
Through skin
What hurts the most is
When we misunderstand
One another
I hate fighting with
You
All I desire
Is to be happy
And to be in your
Arms
I love thee
So much
So why do
I run
And we play chase?
I know you don't like it
And soon you
Will get tired of the game
Then why do we do it?
I know I have issues
But who doesn't?
I need to find away
To strengthen myself
To be a better person
For me and for
You
I don't want no
More chase
