The night gets darker
As the pain finally
Takes its toll on
My screaming
Heart
I feel the darkness
Closing in on
Me
I feel as there has been
A whole cut into the
Place where my heart
Was once
Now that my heart
Has been cut out
I feel like a zombie
That is just here
Not moving
Just walking in time
That has frozen
Emotions from pain
I was caused in a choice
Of life or death
The darkness gets darker
As my heart quivers
My blood is pouring out of
The whole in my chest
Everyone tries to shower
Gifts on me to forget
But that won’t be forgotten
No one can shoo the shadows
Of the dark night coming toward me
In such a great force
All I do is cry and cry more
As the darkness gets darker
