Why is it that when
I see your name
I smile and cry?
Is it because my feelings
For you
I discovered to late
Now that your gone
It hurts more
Even if what we had
Was nothing
It felt like so much
More
Maybe because your gone
It's finally sinking in
That you had my heart all
Along
Yet,
I wasn't sure how I felt
Til it was to late
When you said you had
A date
Now I'm hurting
And I can't blame you
For my stupidity
Or my selfishness
All I can do is
Let you go
To love another
As I sit here
Waiting for you
Amgonst the clouds
