If one single wish I was given,

I'd wish only once,

One wish I'd have, to be forgiven



Against you I've gone,

for that I am sorry

but oh how good it felt

to finally let go.



All my life you've kept me

hidden away, not letting go

locking me inside myself

But now so much I see.



I know all you did was right,

at least by you.

But I need more life, to live

and I won't surrender without a fight!



So, I do thank you

for you did your best,

and I do love you,

honestly I do.



So for now its goodbye,

I'll return again, maybe in a little while

Maybe sooner than you think

I'll return, that's no lie.
