My grandmother´s domino game

It is actually just a domino game. My grandmother always kept her dominoes sets in the shelves, even let my grandfather precious things on the floor or on the desk, you could find sets from seven, nine or twelve dots, and in every visit she would gladly show them to you again. Nobody noticed or remember how, but that pile of dominoes games keeps growing since the birth of my oldest uncle to the birth of the first great grandson, and for sure will continue. The good part is that she could be in her house or in any other place, and she could forget her phone, makeup, money, keys, etc. but never the good, little, old set of domino in her bag for any time. Since I was a kid she taught me how to play that beautiful game, but not for the motives that I thought, because I am starting to think that she did it just to be able to win against me. Even with that in mind, winning or losing (almost always losing) I would always love to have an extra match in order to try to regain those old candies, candies that nobody will ever eat but still everybody want. One of the things that I love about this is that it does not matter if you are happy, sad, excited, bored, sleepy or just passing by, a good match with her waits for you. No world champion could beat Granny. We are not sure if it is all the practice through the years or if she has it in her blood, but my grandmother is good. You could have a perfectly made up hand and before you know it she is already laughing at you, gathering the tokens or candy that she has just won, even though after each game she ends up giving the candies to you. My grandmother has made the domino game a family symbol for union, like the pieces of this game are attached in a match, family members that are separated by age, home city or differences can get together to join a simple match of domino. That is what it is, it really is just a simple domino game, but you like it or not, you cannot deny that it is a beautiful thing how some people can add value to a certain small thing and unite people with it. For my family it is a simple domino game.
