I dream of times when you are always there,
but as soon as I open my eyes,I'm in despair.
I dream of times when we're walking hand and hand,
but as soon as I  open my eyes alone I stand.
I dream of times when we hold each other tight
but as soon as I open my eyes, it's just another endless night.
I dream of us making love all night long,
but as soon as I open my eyes you were gone.
I dream we shared a life of heavenly bliss,
but as soon as I open my eyes you were missed.
I dream I told you I loved you and then you said it to me,
but as soon as I open my eyes, you were gone instantly.
So if the only time I can have you is in a dream,
don't wake me up just let me gleam,
