No one there to call me daddy

NO ONE THERE TO CALL ME DADDY

My life is passing by now, so fast the past is right now, how long it lasts you can’t count on.
Married man big plans in mind, does the right thing most of the time. Working hard to get some bread, kiss the wife before going to bed.
Dreams of family inside his head, children play the dog’s name is Red. A cozy little house with a fire place and a Kool aid smile on everyone’s face....
A large green yard with grass like sod. Believes in his home, his family and god. But as you know you don’t always get the brunt, when you’re not scoring you drop back and punt. You should have kept it all up front, when it’s over it’s gone and that’s all so blunt.
My life is passing by now so fast the past is right now, how long it lasts you can’t count on
No one there to call me daddy, no one home or yard that I can see, the wife is gone no family, just dreams gone by of you and me
