Dance of a Dandelion

Now the games have changed

Now is my time for change.

Better myself.

I need to stretch out

Free myself of this prison

I’ve done no wrong

I can do no wrong

For there is no right!

Dance like dandelion seeds upon the air.

Little ballerina’s in their tootoo’s

Flying free, making jest at the fools on the ground

Escape this. Why did I put myself there?

Drowning beneath a savage sea of waste

Waist, wasting. Figure it out! I gotta get out.

Simple as plain – Plain is simple.

I’m hardly plain.

Imprudent, passionate, full of desire

Oh, desire the plenty!

For it is my life.

It is my dandelion seed.

Make my wish and make it fly, set it free!

It will float upon a dream

But as with all, to make it grow

It will need to come down

Find the richness of soil

Plant its roots

Dig down deep

Claim its ground

And blossom…

But without that safe home

Without that trust of no betrayal

She will not blossom

Forever floating upon the open air

Until she comes to rest in that savage sea

And lays her self within a shallow grave

Of all those presumed and bitter sweet memories

And there ends the dance of the Dandelion.
