adrift (interim title)

Folder:
bridging poems

You float,

like a ship on a silent sea,

lantern‑eyes searching horizons

no voice will answer.

You glide,

like a wolf through endless forest,

each step a question,

each howl a prayer to the night.

You cut the dark,

like a lighthouse beam,

steady, alone,

yet carrying light for those unseen.
