Today was good.

I painted my lazy self across every storefront window with the biggest

smile you’d ever seen.

I wished them all well.
Much prosperity. 

A great work day.

But we all know the truth. 

And here they come,

the spit bucket

window cleaners.
Always eager. 

Always on time.
