Butterflies flutter in the soft spring breeze.
Baby birds chirp high up in the trees.
The sky is so deep that I feel I might drown.
Dandelion forests are covering the ground.
All around me, flowers are in bloom.
Filling the air with their fragrant perfumes.
Wildflowers bursting with colorful flare.
I pick one perfect daisy to wear in my hair.
Arms stretched out to the skies above,
Joyously celebrating life, freedom and love.
Spinning, twirling, dancing to the sounds.
Natural music. Beauty surrounds.
Finally collapsing in a dizzy heap.
Exhausted, I indulge in sweet twilight sleep.
A pretty blue butterfly tickles my nose,
Stirring me from my giddy repose.
Warmth of the sunlight filling my being.
Closing my eyes, inwardly seeing.
A dreamy smile resides on my face.
Lost in the moment of a sunny daze.
