New year has arrived and yet it all seems unchanged

Every day in the news the same ole, same ole

Wicked men doing wicked things

You know we've all seen it again and again and again

Everywhere all over the world a lust and a fight ongoing for the ulimate power

Always so depressing

Ruthless people out do to whatever it takes no matter the innocent lives that get in their way

So much of the same damn bullshit

And no one ever really steps forward to try and stop it

Makes one mad as all Hell

Everywhere we go so many cowards unwilling to simply say anything at all

Simply swallow your fear and some way to fight back

How can we endure another year or even minute of this?

It's got to end somehow, someway

This year must mark the start of a new era
