It's come to this sadly enough

Alone again when I thought I never would be again

Made the biggest mistake of my life and trusted the wrong damn one

All I have now to show for is a broken heart and spirit

Victory in life and love is no longer mine

All has been stripped away from me

Lost and lonely now wandering this dark highway

Everything I once knew for truth revealed as lies

Now I wallow in the pain and neverending heartache of betrayal

The tides of the ocean bidding me to join in their eternal dance

It would maybe be smoothing to slip under and just float for a while

Never again bothered by the cold darkness of a dread filled heart

Evermore one with the blue ocean's calling
