I washed myself
And scrubbed the grime
But it was within me
It was inside me all this time
The shower drain got clogged
With everything I tried to brush off
And the bathroom began filling with water
I swam to the ceiling, pressed on the roof
I swam for the doorknob
Tried to jiggle it loose
But it was too late
I was trapped in the bathroom
Doomed to a watery fate
The window was locked, the tile was cracking
I guess I accepted my demise
But it’s hard to say
You aren’t thinking clearly
When you’re thinking that way
So I took a big gulp
And coughed out the same
I died in the bathroom
And it was pretty lame
