i never knew true love

before you

yes i said i loved

i did i still do



true love is free

now i am free



no longer enslaved

by distorted thoughts

of what love should be

but wasn't



i met a breed

i could not fiqure out



so



i married



only to be battered

abused

and divorce



my body is worn

and tired



my soul

heavy

who will put me

where i belong
