I’m at a place
At a road
Where the ground it forks
Where the stories told
Left or right
I turn my back
To me its seems
I’ve walked this track
Three more steps
And two more lies
One more sin
And someone dies
I see the help
But refuse the hand
A stubborn God
A stubborn man
Belief is gold
And I am poor
The Yellow Brick Road
I see no more
I feel no faith
My senses wane
I see no options
I walk in pain
But forward I move
Head to the ground
Nervous and such
Not a word not a sound
I face my fears
As I walk this path
I will obtain my wish
If correct my math
Afraid no more
I’ve come to peace
With Mother Nature
Her joys they cease
Bless it I
To be so strong
And congratulate I
To live so long
I’m sad no more
The road it ends
At death’s door
Where our life begins
