can you find a special place
for my heart to rest?
put it where it won't be broken

keep it where the love flows free
yet endures every test
find for us a special place
where our hearts can be
where tenderness is not foreign
but more like family
where love flowing between us
flows so steadily
behind a mountain waterfall
not having to breathe
yet beating right there next to yours
not too slow or fast
forever more in unison
until it beats its last
