She's cute, a little girly
No longer in high school
Innocent yet worldly
And awkwardly so cool
She shows me a secretive need
In that nonchalant glance
One she won't concede
Without my crafty advance
A need I want night after night
To quench with what satisfies
And makes her feel alright
Without having to compromise
So here I am jotting down
Words I hope she'll take to heart
Sincere but not so profound
While we are so far apart
All I can do is offer my arms
When her scheduled flight arrives
Cherish her childlike charms
And hope my mystique survives
