A calm ocean.

A still sea.

Motionless waters,

living inside of me.

Then you came along,

and filled my ocean with life.

Took away the pollutants,

and all the pain and strife.

~

You wade into the waters.

I felt safe while you were there.

Not thinking you could hurt me,

I didn't really care.

~

Pain and bitterness start to show,

the longer you stick around.

No more blue skies or gentle breeze,

but massive blackened clouds.

~

You brewed a storm inside of me.

Into my heart you took a dive.

But I'm sorry my love I can't save you,

as the waves eat you alive.
