Never-Ending Story

I

I loved

I loved you

I loved you forever

and a day.

Ther was no way

I would

Ever

Let my heart stop

Stop loving

You.

I once told myself,

"You don't love him."

Now I look back on those days and think,

How could I not love you?

From my heart will go on

To untitled to scars

To you entice me.

Just by being with you

I feel

I've seen

The world.

The good and the bad,

The happy and the sad,

The love and the hate,

The shocks and the waits.

You kissed me

Suddenly

And in an

Instant

I was

Yours

All over again.

I couldn't be happier.

We are still known as one and the same,

From two years passed

To it will forever last.

I don't know what clicked.

Maybe your heart started pumping

And your pulse raced

Raced

And with a solitary look in my eyes--

You knew.

Did you know?

How did you know

I

I felt

I felt

The same.

I want to ask questions,

But I don't know where to start.

I want to look in your eyes

And see my name on your heart.

I know it's there,

It's inscribed.

I wrote you a love letter,

You wrote back.

With a final close,

I don't want to lack--

I want to tell my story

And go down in glory.

Those tears I cried,

I cried them for you.

I picked them all up

And dropped them in the ocean blue.

You know the rest,

You must confess--

When will I find them?

That's when I'll stop loving you.
