Grow a rose with love

and let the colors be a chameleon

of your mood as your fingertips

touches the heart of you

from white into yellow

into pink into red into purple into blue

until you've found what displays

your essence the best,

but be careful not to prick yourself

on the thorns of complexities

as you put it into a crystal vase

to symbolize your every whim

or give it to a friend to cherish your 

chameleon rose.
