Rays of light glisten
through clouded skies
to penetrate your skin
until you feel
warmth and tranquility.
It's to show you
no matter what
mood you're in,
it can and will get better.
It's to move you
beyond what you think
will, can, and might happen into
things you once thought were impossible
until you realized nothing is
when you set
your mind and heart to it.
It's to glide you through
the murky waters of emotion
into the rainbows of acceptance.
It's to give you God
when you think everything's gone black
when in essence it just brought you
into the light.
