2004 poems I missed out on a friendship that never was.
I did not take the time to realize
that a person wanted to be my friend.
I missed out on a friendship that was never there.
I wish that I could go back
and say yes I will be your friend, but I can't.
I missed out on having a friend when I was young.
When I was you
I missed out on a lot of friendships
just like this one.
I know I was wrong for how I acted toward
the friend.
That's why I missed out on so many good times
with this friend that is not mine.
I just hope to God that one day
I can find this friend
and tell them the real truth
why I did not want to be friends with that.
