Apocalypse

2008 Poetry

“The heat of the crimson sun

burned down causing drought

on the earth’s mantle,

‘til the bones of the living

turned to dust and flew

with parched flesh

and simply disappeared.”

We must all grapple

and search our souls,

not to forget how

brisk the world could end.
