Tap Dancing
Tap dancing the night away,
but no one sees as i swirl,
twisting and turning about the stage,
There is no aplause as i pause to bow,
before spinning off stage smiling,
The performance was for me,
only in my mind was it seen.
The magnificance of the dance,
is not enjoyed for me by day,
it is only at night that the music plays,
dancing the night away in my black tap shoes.
