Thanksgiving Picture
The falling leaves,
Reds, yellows, orange and gold,
The days are growing dark early,
Warm afternoons, nights grow cold.
It's time we all remember,
Gathering family to celebrate.
Football, turkey, pumpkin pie,
A weekend with family, across the state.
Everyone's gathering together,
The turkey is golden brown,
Families heads are bowed,
Giving thanks all over town.
Memories of love are building,
Camera bulbs keep flashing.
Pictures in our minds and hearts,
Before reindeer paws come dashing.
Giving thanks to our Lord above,
For blessings rich and sweet,
From ocean shores to the mountains high,
May our praises to God repeat!
