Forget the past,

I don’t want to,

and yet, I do.

Take a step forward?

But it’s so dark,

What if I fall?

Trust in Jesus?

Can I really?

I know I’ve been told I can.

But I can’t see Him!

What if I forget?

Forget to hold on.

Taking that step means,

Leaving the past,

And leaning on God alone.

Forget the past?

I don’t want to,

And yet, I do!
