Does time pass in the dark? Do we even exist in the absence of light waves? Time isn’t linear, a neglected fact evidenced by the rotundness of clocks and watches. infinite circles of numbers, on our wrists, the wall, tables, sundials reminding us that time is furiously fleeing on Hermes winged feet, whilst simultaneously contradicting themselves, spinning around an eternal rinse cycle, round and round. (Even digital timekeeps repeat sans rotunda) Washing every second, the next being impregnated with shiny penny potential, which then gets dirty and click, goes into time's washing machine. Though ironically, the clock's dishpan hands may never touch, never able to applaud itself. . .
. . .is that the point? like a wedding ring, sslfless, infinite, endless without imposition or want, yet joins others - perfection. At least that to me seems to be the ideal. Touching others while dismissing oneself the epitome of true love
I once wrote a short story in college called Circles, it was about a woman who kept getting involved with the same man over and over and over again, though he was in different bodies, same stereotype . . Looks like my brain is going in Circles again. . .
